This tiny eatery is a true gem in Copenhagen. It's run by a nice Japanese couple and specializes in sushi. They welcomed me in today for lunch. I am half Japanese and was craving some home food. The sushi truly tastes like sushi and everything I tried had an authentic Japanese taste. I highly recommend if you are looking for real Japanese food. They have a specials board as well (I also ordered the spicy tofu off the board). Even the ocha tasted so good. At the end while paying, I noticed they have onigiri for takeaway which was another happy surprise! They are well sized and mine had a generous amount of salmon (shake). I just found what I have been looking for during years. Authenticity and quality of the sushi is at a very high level. This place is closer to a real “Sushiya” than most places I’ve visited in Copenhagen. Prices also reasonable. For the authentic experience, I recommend sitting at the counter and watch the skilled chef do he is excellent at .

If you are looking for an authentic Japanese sushi restaurant, I highly recommend this place. The ingredients are fresh, and the quality of the sushi is excellent. My son said it was the best sushi he has ever had in Denmark. The lunch prices are reasonable, and I hope to come back with my family in the future to try their dinner menu.

The actual best Yakitori I've ever eaten, full stop. It was incredible.
The sushi was phenomenal also, this is definitely more traditional sushi not over the top stuff. The fish was fantastic and the flavors were great.
Great sake selections and helped me with a recommendation as they were brands I wasn't familiar with. Really awesome place, great outside and inside seating!

I have eaten here numerous of times. It’s probably the best sushi place in Copenhagen that consistently serves sushi at a very high and fresh quality + it’s affordable as well!
When I first ate here it took me back to Japan!

Favorite Japanese place in Copenhagen, fresh and delicious. Just one thing we would appreciate is changing your working schedule in Google Maps and /or your website when you are suddenly closed. Happens rarely, but as we come from another part of Greater Copenhagen it can be quite disappointing to find out you’re closed.
Tasty sushi 😊😋🍱 Quick and friendly service👍😉 Note there is not much space inside this place and NO toilet 😕
