Had an amazing meal at Selma Copenhagen! The smørrebrød was absolutely delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Service was super friendly and attentive throughout. Tip: ask to sit upstairs rather than in the basement, much nicer atmosphere. A real highlight of our Copenhagen trip, highly recommend!

We had lunch at Selma and really enjoyed the experience. We tried a selection of their modern take on traditional Danish open-faced sandwiches, including fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Every single one was delicious. The flavors were beautifully balanced while still being creative and full of character. We decided to visit after seeing several recommendations on social media, and it definitely lived up to the hype. If you're looking for a fresh and contemporary take on a Danish classic, Selma is absolutely worth a visit.

We tried 3 of the smorrebrod. They were nice. Not the best though and quite expensive. The water, which we thought is complementary, was ~25 euro. The service was good.

We had the small fish course. The service was so friendly. The homemade rhubarb lemonade was so good and very memorable. The salmon smorbord was famtastic, so well balanced and absolutely lovely. The pork neck smorbord was so tastey and very heavy. The dessert was lovely and delicious and better than almost all the other traditional danish fruit desserts (which can be quite unclimactic) and the honey and cheese dessert was perfect, the rye crisps, honey, and cheese were the perfect trio. So far, the best food of our trip

Had amazing food/drink and attentive, friendly service! Tasting lunch was supposed to be 4 courses, I think, but it seemed like they kept bringing more food after we thought we'd had the last course. Food flavors blended beautifully, and housemade aqvavait/snaps accompaniment complemented the food in different ways (tried dill flavored, elderflower flavored, and brown-butter flavored varieties). Atmosphere was sunny and pleasant. Highly recommend the lunch tasting!

355 kroner for a white asparagus dish recommended by the waiter felt like a bit of an upsell. Otherwise good

Leaving this review for anyone who is looking to try a Michelin Bib and wants to try Smørrebrød while in Copenhagen. If you have limited time and only one chance, I would say this isn’t it. We ordered 4 breads, the Matjes, Rosehip, Mackerel and spiced herring. All were just really heavy and the flavors did not go well together. It felt like everything was covered in a heavy butter or cream that didn’t add much to the dish. Maybe we just ordered wrong. I walked away feeling a bit sick and not very inspired. While many say it is overpriced I would say for Smørrebrød at a nice place and for the beauty of the dishes the price was fair, it just didn’t taste good unfortunately. The restaurant itself is cute enough, nothing super beautiful about the interior but also there were some nice touches that we appreciated. The service was fine as well and our servers were kind. Overall if you want to give it a chance because you have a lot of time in Copenhagen that’s fair but I think there are many other restaurants that would be worth the money and time.

We were here on Sunday with a reservation. This little shop is definitely worth a visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered several different smørrebrød. They were simply fantastic! The menu is small but varied. The selection of schnapps is quite extensive. We thought the rhubarb schnapps was the best. Although they also have a schnapps that tastes like butter 🙌🏼

Ordered the lunch small menu. Food is great. Enjoyed every dish. There is great attention to detail in the presentation and combination of ingredients.
