Me and my bf came here to grab a midnight snack, we appreciate that it’s open until midnight but it’s your typical hangover food. Great prices!

Very decent shawarma at a good price. Great value in Copenhagen. Service was brisk but probably had to do as much to do with the language barrier as anything else. Food was prepared quickly and tasted great. Would eat there again.

The kebab/Döner/durum/shawarma competition is fierce along this street. I randomly decided to check out Sheik Shawarma and when I saw there was an option of having BOTH halloumi AND falafel in one, I was sold. I liked how the menu was presented and gave you the option of choosing your breads (pita/Berliner style/durum). The descriptions were clear and gave you a good overview of the offerings. Falafel were freshly formed and fried and you could taste the difference. Definitely one of the better falafels out there compared to those that have been pre-formed and fried once. Generous amount of fillings, I got four falafels and four strips of halloumi cheese, making sure I had a bite of both with each bite, all the way to the end. Often at other places I end up only have veggies and dough towards the last bite. Vegetable fillings were also fresh enough. The spicy chilli paste was good: flavourful, packed a punch but not overwhelming. I only wished the other sauce was more flavourful, but maybe I just chose the wrong sauce. Overall no complaints, easily my top choice if I want a halloumi + falafel durum. 👍👍👍
