I was invited to lunch on Sunday at "Silberbauers bistro". That place gets all my best recommendations 👌 The food was absolutely fantastic and the wine perfectly matched 👌. The service/staff was competent, professionally skilled and created a friendly/cozy atmosphere throughout the restaurant 👌. It's an experience I'll never forget ‼️. THANK YOU 🌞

The initiated are aware that Copenhagen offers a wide variety of French restaurants: From soulless tourist traps to themed venues that drown you in images of Eiffel towers, baguettes and mustached-beret-wearing mannequins. Then there are the upper-class-upper-price range-mediocre-produce places that look like the place to be, but rarely keep what their polished looks promise. Silberbauer is the opposite of that. Discreet and understated on the outside, full of life and buzz on the inside. Though they fall in the same category as most other restaurants - namely that the starters outshine the mains - all dishes that I tried were the best I’ve had all year. However, the undisputed star was the seared/grilled(?) bone marrow with bread (see photos). The taste was so rich, it actually made the main dish (gnocchi ragout) pale in comparison in terms of flavour. Pro tip: Order it as a pre-desert after the main! My only regret I have from my visit is, that I didn’t order more of them. Four stars on the vibe because it was lunch and I’d imagine dinner time is more lively.

My husband and I spent our wedding night here and it was perfect. The staff were absolutely lovely. We felt very welcome. They brought us delicious wine, explained the menu perfectly, and even took some pictures for us. The food was delicious. We loved the Niçois influence. The space was cosy and romantic. Went here on a windy Friday evening - our second time here. It is just a perfect spot. Cozy inside, great atmosphere, great service, awesome food and the best wine list. All that you expect from a French bistro is here. It is a superpopular spot so reservation is needed. We shared some starteres before having the best fish ever eaten. You can easily go and just enjoy the many starters as well. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

whenever friends are in town, i always bring them here and it’s the best experience :’) food is 10/10, staff are friendly and knowledgable, and the onion tart is very much the dish it thinks it is so you should def give it a try, your taste buds will be happy <3

Probably some of the best food I've had. Everything was just perfect. Top marks all the way through.

Everyone was super nice. We had some mussels, of which nothing was left. We dipped all the bread in them. Then we had turbot and sea bream, which were 10/10. Highly recommended.

decent food, only qualm is the portion size of the gnocchi - for a main dish it is quite tiny mussels were good and fresh

Cozy place! Great take on bistronomy! The wine list is nice and the somm really knows his stuff!
