Been here a few times. Yes of course a bit touristy but you're well looked after, the food is great and staff friendly.

Good food but absolutely abysmal service. Multiple missed orders from our table because our waiter wasn’t paying any attention at all.

We had "A taste of Skagen" and it was really good. I'm pretty sure the great sunny weather, the amazing outdoor seating and the company, all helped to be a 5 star experience. We did have a little trouble getting the waiters attention, but when we got it, they were really nice and helpful. When the weather is good, the outdoor seating at Illum is amazing, the view over the top off Copenhagen is stunning. Food looked good on the plank, everything was well prepared, all tasted great. Price fits what you get.
