If you’re here, don’t miss their pistachio and almond croissant – absolutely delicious! Their cookie and pain au pistachio were okay, but nothing standout compared to the other items.

If you ever find yourself in Østerbro and want to skip the Juno Bakery line (or just eat where the locals go), I highly recommend checking out Skipper Bageri! Their chocolate chip cookies, lemon kanelsnegl, and kardemommeboller are some of the best I’ve had in Copenhagen. I'd give it a full 5 stars if it weren’t for my boyfriend’s ham and egg sandwich, which was a bit boring last time. Still, the overall experience, friendly vibe, and baked goods more than make up for it. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice place to shop Not so nice to sit Consider making sure you get served from the cakes etc. on display and not from the racks in the back. Those pieces are somewhat less impressive.

06/09/2025: Summer or winter, inside or out, lunch or dinner, always good food and good personal service. Best recommendation is to come again and again.
05/09/2025: Normally we do not eat 3 times in the same place when we travel. Fortunately for us we found this lovely traditional, with modern twists restaurant, our second evening. Our first meal introduced us to Danish cuisine and desserts. We circled back at the end of a 2 week jaunt to eat on their outside ferry patio. The patio came equipped with blankets and heaters. During that meal we heard about their Sunday smorgasbord. That sealed the deal for us to make the 3rd trip. We splurged on the fixed price sampling menu. So much food, we really couldn’t eat it all. But, we sure were glad we tried. Sorry, no pictures.
