My friend and I had been talking for a long time about visiting the cozy restaurant by the lake, Skipperhus from 1757. The restaurant has a fantastic location 👏 it already charms you when you walk in the door. Located in the backyard of Fredensborg Castle. The food is very sophisticated, small fine dishes, but if you are a bit picky, the restaurant is not the best place to choose, I think there was a very small selection on the evening menu, and they are small dishes, if you don't want to leave hungry, you must part of the menu is ordered. We were two girls, chose a couple of dishes each with a bottle of wine price DKK 1900 Lovely evening with the most beautiful sunset 🌸

The food was really delicious and the service top notch. The restaurant was full of happy guests. Due to the design of the old building, the acoustics were bad, so it doesn't matter if you only have the table for 1.5 hours.
