Authentic simple food in simple lovely surroundings in the harbour area. Good fresh simple ingredients. Their poke bowl on the menu, recommended 😊

Lovely restaurant close to the water by the cozy harbor. The restaurant was very popular, which is probably due to the restaurant's delicious fresh dishes. There were plenty of opportunities to sit in the sun out on the terrace, but if you wanted to sit under cover, you can easily use the restaurant's nice rooms or their adjacent shelter.

We have eaten at Skælskør Fiskehus 4-5 times, and have never been disappointed. You eat well, the atmosphere is good and you get value for money. 5 big stars, only because I can't give more.

07/08/2026: Sat outside, nice and fast service and delicious food.
26/07/2026: We stumbled upon Café Caramel while searching for delicious cake. We weren't disappointed. The cake was absolutely delicious; my favorite was the pumpkin cake. The cakes were beautifully decorated with fruit, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. We also really enjoyed the cappuccino and the caramel latte. The service was very friendly. And because it was so delicious in the afternoon, we decided to eat there in the evening as well. We weren't disappointed then either.

31/07/2026: The chef here knows how to cook a good piece of meat! The rib-eye steak was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were a bit oily, but ok if you like it that way. It was lovely to sit by the water on a sunny day. My only complaint would be the prices-the pasta and stir-fry dishes were over priced.
29/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening with a great view and first-class food. Every bite was a delight, plus excellent service – unobtrusive but always at the table at the right time 🤗
