It's a good idea to make use of station buildings for social purposes and cafés. The slightly retro and slightly quirky café at Sorø station is highly recommended, both for the sandwishes, the coffees and the ambience! There are various veggies on sale too, as well as all sorts of jewellry, tingle tangle, pictures, etc. Given the ample walking opportunities in the district - notably around Sorø lake - I guess we'll be back sooner or later.

A very cozy cafe with a secret atmosphere. A lot of finishing touches are missing in terms of cleaning and tidying up and making sure that the flowers don't stand and wither. That there are new lit lights in the stands and that the toilet is clean. That the shelves in the café are not very dusty. But most are regular customers and like to see through fingers with the slightly worn and casual look.

Hyggelig lille café på Sorø station. Dejlig café, god kardemummesnurre, som dog ikke var en snurre men en kage. Det er en herlig udnyttelse af en gammel station. Stationen fungerer normalt, men en stor del er indrettet til vage med salg af forskelligt.

15/11/2024: We had our wedding at Thon partner hotel in Sorø. It was absolutely amazing! First of all, all the staffs are very helpful and friendly, especially the wedding planner Rikke helped us with everything that we dreamed about. The location is easy to find if you have a car, and it’s close to Sorø downtown and the beautiful lakes. Good spot for wedding photos. The value itself is beautiful, our guests can chill in the side room and the terrace. The food was delicious and the rooms are super clean and nice! It’s also pet friendly so our furry family members can also be there. All in all we are very happy that we choose Thon Partner hotel in Sorø.
