July 26, 2025. Large selection of really good food. They are quick to refill the dishes and empty plates are removed very quickly. Really good service. Only downside would have liked to have sat outside and eaten.

As always a lovely evening with good food. Nice buffet with a bit of everything, I especially love their sushi. Good service, which today was extra helpful in putting together some takeaway for my son at home. There is always a nice atmosphere and rarely noise when eating at 6 pm. The owner is very child-friendly and always fun to chat with when he is there.

Really nice restaurant with sweet and friendly service. I personally reserve 5 stars for things and places with a rating of 13 with an upward arrow. So don't be too concerned that I "only" gave 4 stars. It's really nice and the food is also good. 👍

Then the trip spontaneously went past Slangerup Gæstgivergaard. It was a really good experience. First we were politely welcomed and shown to a table. We decided to take one dish each although the buffet looked delicious. I ordered beef in whiskey sauce with vegetables and rice. My girlfriend ordered fried rice with chicken. The food came quickly and was served by the owner. He said that he had his 25th anniversary. I have to say after I took the first bite of the food, I understand well that he has been able to run the place for 25 years. The food tasted nothing short of fantastic. We both agreed on that. The details of the food were really taken care of and good ingredients were used. This place is classes ahead of other Asian eateries in Denmark. If you are in Zealand, stop by and enjoy the good food and atmosphere. It's worth driving a long way for😊

11/05/2025: Good pizza and good chicken salad but I think my chicken salad was a small portion and not so much salad in it, even for a small lady like me 😉😀

09/07/2025: UPDATE 9.7.25 Birthday lunch. There weren't many of us so the dishes came quickly. They've had a few more dishes. Among other things, salmon tartare and salmon salad, which are really tasty. Today we're very full ☺️ UPDATE 11.03.23: We visited the restaurant again yesterday. We started out with our electronic parking disc failing. And then it's bad to park in their parking space. We had to move the car to a place where we were sure not to get a fine. You can't buy parking fees and the restaurant can't issue parking tickets. It's a bit of a bummer. The food is still delicious, the concept is brilliant. This time we experienced that we waited a little long for the ordered dishes. Primarily the sushi dishes. It was Saturday night and the restaurant was almost full. We think that's one of the reasons and perhaps quite expected, that they couldn't really keep up, or maybe there's an illness in the staff group. We'd still like to come back. The staff is very smiling. ------ It was a coincidence that we ended up at Nishiki Sushi and we were actually happy with it. The interior itself is okay. It looks more like a Sushi restaurant, slightly stricter, than a hot Chinese restaurant, but that's what it is. The concept is so good when you think about food waste. Order only what you can eat. The You Sushi chain has the same thing, but here at Nishiki you order what you want to eat and drink on a tablet that belongs to the table. And it is so much closer than Hillerød or Allerød where You Sushi is located. The food itself was very nice. Nigiri was made with a moderate amount of rice and was lovely cold. Almost everything we ordered was tasty. And we didn't leave a crumb. If you leave more than 4 pieces of food, you have to pay 10 kr per piece. That's so good for food waste. We will definitely come back.
06/06/2025: An average experience. First an iPad that didn't work, then two sodas that were "flat" but were quickly fixed. Got small items that we hadn't ordered. OK good sushi but definitely can't recommend the Hot Wings that can be seen in the picture.
