Had the pleasure of lecturing at the inn for a business club and enjoying food from the (McDonalds) boss himself a couple of times. The food is good, but sparse, and the atmosphere can't be faulted. Don't know what the butler's name is, but he does a great job. So the fact that they are in suits/proper clothes can do something.

Chose the 3-course chrome menu for lunch for DKK. 655,— which is a find for the money. You always get the three small classic taste experiences before the official menu and 3 pcs. according to the menu (but still missing the "gold bar"). All dishes are fantastic, but the veal is some of the best I've had in a long time. Søllerød Kro is also always phenomenal at matching wine to the food.

Søllerød Kro is undoubtedly one of the most charming and cozy inns I have visited in a long time. The beautiful decor, both inside and out, sets an atmosphere of elegance and relaxation, which creates an almost magical atmosphere. It is clear that the staff values ​​the guests' needs. We were greeted with great hospitality, especially as we had a pram with us. They provided plenty of space and took into account our specific wishes. This was really appreciated. The waiters were extremely professional and thorough, and their approach was both pleasant and attentive. One waiter in particular stood out. He radiated humor and warmth and went out of his way to adapt to the dynamics of our company. It is precisely this kind of detail that elevates a service experience from good to excellent. The food was undoubtedly a high-quality taste experience. The dishes challenged our taste buds in exciting ways and offered something for every taste – although not necessarily everything for everyone. The overall satiety level was a challenge. The time between courses was a bit long, which was covered by the serving of bread - in such abundant quantities that it almost seemed as if it should fill more than the signature menu itself. It was a sad feeling, especially considering the gastronomic level one expects from a restaurant like Søllerød Kro. Another surprise was that the menu contained no meat, apart from a canette (duck) dish. It's obviously a matter of taste and preference, but for me personally it was a disappointment. Søllerød Kro is a Michelin restaurant, and with this naturally comes a price that reflects the high level. However, it was shocking to pay DKK 480 for water All in all, Søllerød Kro was a memorable experience with many positive elements: fantastic service, exciting and well-prepared dishes and a wonderful atmosphere. Still, there were small but significant elements that dragged the experience down.

Phenomenal service and unsurpassed food.

Årlig 1. Søndag i advent med kroens store julebuffet. Alt hvad du gerne vil have og i det tempo du ønsker, men kontinuerligt udskiftning af service hele tiden. Alt smager godt og er lækkert, og selv om det er buffet, ja så er det i super stil og tempo. Hvorfor ikke max stjerner? - fordi det trods alt er buffet og tag selv - men i det koncept er det på højeste hylde. Man skal dog på venteliste for at komme til, men vi har plads igen i 2025😃

Absolutely fantastic experience with the inn's signature menu. The evening spanned 6 courses and also various snacks as starters. The waiters were fully attentive in a very unobtrusive manner. Although there were special requests regarding allergens and drinks, there was never any doubt as to who had ordered what. The whole evening of eating and drinking was very special and an experience I have never tried before. The food itself was a great culinary experience. Definitely a place that can be recommended. Both as a company and as a couple.

An impulsive lunch with high expectations which were fully met. Every mouthful through all the dishes was sublime! Prof. operation. The atmosphere in the old inn is unique.

I Søllerød ved Holte ligger gadekær, kirke og kro. Kroen bærer tydeligt historien i sit fine udtryk og indretning. Gårdhaven er en oase i de varme sommerdage. Betjeningen er venlig og ordentlig, på den gode måde. Service, mad, de tilhørende drikkevarer er uovertruffent.
