I agree with the previous reviewer, some of the nicest (and original) tasting beer we’ve tried in Copenhagen. Such a great setting and a warm welcome from the bar staff; the irony of drinking beer within the high walls of an old prison wasn’t lost on us and the fact that this is a co-operative endeavour is so refreshing and anti corporate. Beer of the afternoon was SEEDLING (4.7%) a mixed fermentation ale aged in a wine barrel - in all my years of mindful beer drinking (maybe 30?) I’ve never tasted anything so peculiar, so compelling and so impressive. Good work people.

Slowburn Brewing Co-op delivers really good products at a fair price. The beers taste great, and you can feel that the craftsmanship is cherished.
