A restaurant that knows what it’s doing♥️ The location by the water already sets a special tone, but what really makes the difference is the atmosphere inside: warm, elegant and relaxed, especially appreciated on a winter evening. The staff was present, attentive and professional in a very natural way, (I loved the uniforms!!) you feel welcomed, not managed. That balance is not easy to achieve, and here it works. The lamb was beautifully prepared. Perfectly cooked, with a delicate sear on the outside and a soft, tender texture inside that almost melts. The meat had depth and character, clearly high quality, and treated with respect. (To be Argentinian that’s a lot to say) The sauce was rich yet restrained, supporting the lamb instead of competing with it. Just perfect! Every element on the plate made sense. The asparagus brought freshness and a subtle earthy bite, keeping the dish light despite its richness. The herbs were not just decorative, they added aroma and lifted the entire plate, creating balance and clarity in each bite. The pairing with Peñafalcón, Ribera del Duero (304 days in oak) was an excellent choice. The wine has structure and elegance, with round tannins and a smooth, velvety texture that matched the lamb perfectly. The oak aging adds warmth and complexity without overpowering the food, allowing both the dish and the wine to shine together. (I don’t know much about wines, but this one was amazing) Even the salad was handled with intention: fresh, clean and light, exactly what was needed to reset the palate. Snekken is a place that understands restraint, balance and hospitality. Nothing feels forced or overdone, just good food, thoughtful pairings, a beautiful setting and a team that clearly cares. A restaurant run with confidence and heart. Maybe a place for celebrate my next birthday 😊

Cozy place with good service. We had surf’n turf. One steak was unfortunately very sinewy, but the other on our plate was very good. The chicken burger was also good.

A truly amazing experience after our wedding ceremony at the Viking Ship Museum. We came as a group of 17 people without prior booking days in advance. The restaurant prepared a perfect corner for all of us at a long table. We ordered various dishes from light appetizers to burgers, steaks and fish. It all came together! You can't ask for more and it tasted fantastic! Thanks to the chef and staff. Like this!

A quick stop for a craft beer. Not a huge selection, but okay. Therefore, this review is based solely on the beer. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.

I enjoyed a sunny evening in the restaurant on the terrace. They were really busy, but the atmosphere was still really nice. I had moulet frittes and the mussels were really top quality.

Nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant avant de visiter le musée et la cathédrale : il est idéalement situé, et très lumineux avec ses grandes baies vitrées qui donnent sur la marina. C'était le week-end et il y avait un buffet pour le brunch (avec une formule buffet à volonté). Salé, sucré, fruits frais : nous nous sommes régalés. Nous avons pu goûter des spécialités danoises, comme le fameux "leverpostej" (pâté de foie chaud) : délicieux ! Bon rapport qualité prix : je recommande.

Had a nice dinner at Skedden the first night in Roskilde, Denmark while on a guided walking tour. A short walk through the park down to the marina right on the fjord, indoor or outdoor seating, reasonable prices (for Denmark) and selection of food. We both had the fish & chips this particular night. Recommended.
