22/05/2025: Really good prices on fresh fish. Their Stjerneskud is like in Hanstholm. Unfortunately the selection is not as large. That's why they get 4 stars and Hanstholm of course gets 5 for their menu and selection

Restaurant Niels Juel

15/07/2025: It's one of the best fish restaurants in the area. The fish buffet, in particular, is sensational, even if it has declined somewhat in recent years.
03/07/2025: Went in to order their sirloin steak which is what they have in addition to their fish buffet. I'm not one who usually chooses fish as either the 1st or 2nd choice. Checked out the buffet and decided to try it anyway. Made it through all the dishes and must say that it really put my fear of fish to shame. I would like to highlight the crayfish salad and the cold smoked salmon as being in a class of their own. Absolute recommendation from here and not the last time I visit Niels Juel
