Good atmosphere, but food and service were disappointing Café Sommer has a really cozy and inviting atmosphere – definitely the best thing about the visit. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings, and the place is perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Unfortunately, neither the food nor the service lived up to expectations. The food was mediocre and lacked both flavor and finesse – not something you remember. The service was also nothing to write home about; the staff seemed disinterested and we had to wait a long time both to order and get our food. All in all, a bit of a mixed experience. I might come back for the atmosphere, but not for the food.

Good place for lunch. Delicious sandwiches

Nice location with a cozy interior and friendly staff. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the personal touch of having each dish presented by the staff. The only disappointing detail was the portion size—I was served only 3 scallops, while earlier photos show it used to be 4. Still, a lovely dining experience overall!

Restaurant Sommer in Allinge is simply our favorite and this year (2025) the menu is insanely good, we couldn't choose between the dishes. Sommer is the choice in Allinge!

Had dinner and had a fantastically sweet waiter who made the experience completely unique. The food was absolutely fantastic and a Burgundy from 2012 made the experience something completely unique. Thank you very much. Lunch the next day - Today's lunch menu was a great idea and the sun and a cold beer made the experience complete.

Lovely food, lovely surroundings, good service and a good experience. We have been here several times and have been happy every time.
