A must if you would like to eat a true Danish lunch called Smørrebrød. Still the place for a true Danish lunch. Excellent selection of the best Danish "Smørrebrød" in Østerbro. Also great for good old Danish dinner. Staff is great as well. Go go go😊😊 Still the same great place.

Portion sizes have been improved since my last visit, resulting in a much higher rating. The price is the only thing keeping it down, since it is solid and traditional food but not exactly Michelin. The location by the lakes is what makes it expensive, but the staff is nice and friendly, which saves the experience. A good 4 stars.

Klassisk dansk, med en lang smørrebrøds seddel, hvor der er for enhver smag. Vi valgte søpromenadens frokost anretning, hvor der var lige tilpas og rigtig velsmagende mad. Beste anbefalinger herfra 👍👍

Jeg besøgte Søpromenaden ril frokost . Jeg fik to stk smørrebrød. Frisk og det smagte rigtig godt. Stedet ligger lige ug til Sortedamssøen dossering.

The Library at Rentemestervej

12/03/2024: It's a really nice place to sit and immerse yourself in a book. However, you should be aware that there are certain times of the day when this is not possible, due to massive noise from screaming infants, and that was even if you were sitting at the far end of the library with headphones on.
10/03/2024: Wonderful library with comfortable chairs to sit for a long time! On weekends, noise can occur because there is a parent-child event on the top floor. Generally, weekdays are quiet and the perfect place to read 📖

20/02/2024: We live very close to Cafe Viggo and all the other cozy cafes and restaurants on Værnedamsvej, and therefore we often come to Viggo, which is absolutely among our favorite places. It's French to the core - no pretentious - vibe. Absolutely wonderful and authentic French food - both on the lunch menu with the best galettes in Denmark (and on par with Brittany's best) - and the evening menu is sublimely French and lovable. But the atmosphere and SERVICE is formidable😊👏🏼. To that extent, you feel welcome and well served. Thank you, Viggo - and all the staff - see you again soon😃. A special thank you to Thomas, who is just the epitome of good service and understanding of the profession👌🏼😃.
