Loved this place, staff are very friendly and give top notch service, even to us dumb and confused tourists. Just be aware smoking is allowed inside

I am an old trucker from Scotland i used to drink in the Spunk bar every thursday night for about 6 years our depot was in Taastrup out side Copanhaen but on friday we always started loading near centre got a few bikers in there Danes are great people miss it now 78 god bless Danmark

In thr slightly rough end of town, but fully authentic Danish Pub, bursting with atmosphere... and smoking was allowed, so it's now my new favourite Copenhagen pub!

A classic sunkhak with an old Danish atmosphere! Wonderful in its own little charming way! Beer of course if you're nearby! 🍻

Just a shame I had no cash to put some decent music on the jukebox. Someone kept putting on Euro pop (Dr Alban, Haddaway etc). Not my idea of good music. A proper bar though. Smaller than I expected.

24/10/2024: We ordered 2 beef shawarmas (€9 each). The meat they use in the roll is fillets on top of each other, not the industrial roll of dubious origin that is used in Spain. Even so, the meat was quite strong and had a strange flavor... I doubt it was beef.
20/10/2024: Just want to say that they make the best Shawarma in Copenhagen. Must try!

29/10/2024: Super good food, however, I'm not in favor of having to pick up the food yourself when you're sitting on the first floor, but we chose that ourselves. However, the price is a bit on the high end compared to what you get.
