No waiting before we get seated. Order taking and fast service. No smile. The burger, fries, sweet potato fries and fish & chips were plentiful and very good as well as the chicken/icing sugar and maple syrup waffle. Very good overall. Ice cubes are not good.
Wonderful atmosphere.
Food looks good but tastes ordinary. Bread of the burger crumbles into many pieces while eating.
Rich sauce alternatives right on the table.
Nice and cozy place with really good food. The prices are quite reasonable for Kbh.
When taking away, remember to check if you get it right: Our Cadillac (ox) turned out to be a Thunderbird (chicken) when we got home.
The first time we visited the place we were very impressed by the decor and the atmosphere. We quickly got a table and had a very nice and attentive male waiter.
The second time we were there was on Valentine's Day and the atmosphere was still good. The restaurant was full and there was a bit of a queue. We were shown to a table down in the basement, which also had a nice atmosphere. From there, our experience was unfortunately poor. There was a great lack of servants in the basement area, and you felt a bit forgotten. It took a very long time before we could finally order, and the drinks certainly had to wait as well. The food was nice enough, nothing overwhelming. We saw the waiter with our food, but he didn't know which table we were at, so we had to call him over ourselves. There were several guests around us who waited a long time to be served. All the waiters were upstairs so it was hard to get hold of them.
Overall an impression that the waiters lacked overview and energy - albeit with a smile. The diner is worth a visit as it is very charmingly decorated, but the food is not a great culinary experience, and the waiters are nice, but definitely lacked an overview.
It was the first time I visited the place, and I think it was cozy, and their menu and prices are excellent compared to the other places out in the city, and a very nice place for children too
17/01/2024: met a man who had fallen into the pool as a child and he never got out again. he said he had spent his life savings on apple pie shots and draft beer.
