If you dream of a trip back to the 50s USA, Stacy’s Diner in Østerbro is an obvious choice. The restaurant is done in a retro style with neon signs, red leather benches and an atmosphere that exudes American nostalgia.

American visiting Copenhagen, but living in Germany. This is the closest thing I've found to an authentic American dining experience in Europe so far since moving to Germany. The large drinks are actually large here. Like, American-large. The atmosphere is really nice, well decorated, and excellent (if a bit Elvis-heavy) 50s-60s oldies music complete the experience. I had the "Kind A Burger" without onions. It was chicken served with some kind of mayo sauce on a sugar-waffle sandwich. It actually worked quite well, I would have it again. Also had a side of Mac and cheese which was baked and absolutely amazing. Zero complaints. Would absolutely be a regular here if I lived in Copenhagen.

The fries were cooked well and tasted good. However the burgers were only okay. Not bad, but not as good as they should be for the type of place. Staff were friendly. Baileys milkshake was pretty strong xD.

26/12/2025: The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was very busy, and the staff couldn't keep up with everyone, so we had to wait a long time. The staff brought the food, but we had to wait and ask for cutlery!

16/10/2025: Fantastic experience at Restaurant Aristo. We had a thoroughly wonderful evening at Aristo. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by smiling and welcoming waiters who really knew how to make us feel welcome. The service was top notch – attentive, professional and with a genuine interest in our having a good experience. The food was nothing short of excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour – you could clearly feel the love for the good craftsmanship and the fresh ingredients. We had both fish and meat, and everything was cooked to perfection. The waterfront atmosphere and the relaxed, elegant atmosphere make Aristo a place you want to come back to again and again. A huge thank you to the entire team – both the kitchen and the waiters – for an experience in a class of its own. We are already looking forward to our next visit
30/08/2025: We had the best dinner of our entire 14-day vacation in Denmark at this litte restaurant! The Cod was amazing and very well prepared! The dessert had us dreaming of more. The view and the service were great. 5 stars well deserved!
