Star Cafe Ringkøbing-Skjern

Small restaurant, the two of us wanted to spontaneously have dinner there, but were turned away at 5:30 p.m. because tables were only available if we booked in advance... the 6 tables were all free. So we made reservations for another evening. We arrived 15 minutes later on the day of our reservation and were greeted unfriendly by the landlady... They had ordered at 6:30 p.m., so we got into trouble with the other guests... Ours occupied 4 of the 6 tables. We had to wait some time to place our order, so the time pressure was probably not that great with the guests still expected. Then everything went well. The fish (salmon and plaice) was very good. The price was okay for Denmark and current conditions. No other guests came until we said goodbye. But overall we didn't feel comfortable because we didn't really feel welcome.

Usually you get a "boy with horseradish" for wiener schnitzel + peas. It was missing, otherwise good meat and good braised potatoes.
