10/10/2026: There are 1000 better reviews than mine so I will try not to waste your time. We had been on the waitlist for four years but timings never quite worked out. This time they did. We have an 11 month year old and so we flew us and my wife’s parents here for a family weekend and a chance for us to have an unforgettable date night. We had a Friday booking. My son was violently sick at lunch. I messaged the team to say we wouldn’t make it and I’m grateful for their sympathy and for finding us a space the following night. Noma was everything we had hoped for. Wine pairings from undiscovered vineyards. Dishes with combinations from another planet. It was the seafood season and the Fjord shrimp in barley is in my top 5 dishes of my life.

09/10/2026: Noma has the rare ability to be intellectually compelling and an absolute pleasure to experience. We loved the food, the hospitality and the extraordinary energy of a team that seemed to move with a shared pulse. The menu kept surprising us. Conifers, mushrooms and moss brought the forest to the table in ways that felt both unfamiliar and deeply intuitive. Even a pancake with a deliberate layer of mould and ice cream inside was a revelation: a combination that challenged our expectations and then made perfect sense on the palate. The creativity was exhilarating because it delivered on flavour. The service had that same intelligence and vitality. There were smiles, warmth and a genuine interest in how we experienced each dish. We felt comfortable expressing an opinion or asking a question; our responses seemed to matter. What stayed with us was the generosity running through the entire evening: in the ideas, the flavours and the attention we received. We left deeply satisfied, delighted and still discussing what we had eaten. Noma made an exceptionally ambitious experience feel wonderfully alive.
