Strandmøllekroen Lyngby-Taarbæk

Bought a SPOTDEAL for 5 people, but we had to wait 45 minutes for the service, so we had drunk half of our beer while waiting. Had to move for the food. It's not okay on a weekday at 12:30. Others who had arrived after us were served and we asked if they had forgotten us. The food was good and freshly prepared, but the fish fillets were almost cold, and it is unsatisfactory that the food was served in shared bowls for 5 people. It doesn't look delicate when you get to number 5.🤥. The portions seemed to be VERY SMALL (especially the tartar dish WITHOUT egg yolks), but because of the lovely fresh rye bread in 3cm thick slices, which had to be eaten by hand, everyone was full (despite 1 slice not being cooked through? or maybe watery?). Cozy surroundings with a beautiful view of the Øresund. Friendly and polite service, but it was not enough. All in all a visit I will not repeat.

Beautiful location. The food is always mediocre. Service friendly. However; today the bill upon payment was automatically charged with a 15% gratuity. Very bad practice, possibly illegal. I always tip when I'm out, but I want to be allowed to make the choice myself.

Recommended eatery. Our waiter was smiling and welcoming. Also make suggestions and corrections. Thanks for food ☀️🙏🏼

Good and nice lunch Good atmosphere and good wine really good service

Super cosy, really good service and definitely worth a visit. We were a bit unlucky with the wiener schnitzel, as it was a very dry roast, and half the size of other similar places. However, the price is not half size 🤪 On the other hand, it was very tasty, even the potatoes have been given an extra kick. The service was top notch and the place is clean and cosy. The waiters were attentive and aware that there was little waiting time. The waiters' handling means that you dare to give it an extra try, even if there were a few shortcomings on the food front.

Sublime service, sublime food and sublime surroundings.

Very nice view complemented by a really delicious lunch. On the high end in terms of price, but the quality of the food follows the same curve. The only downside is the very poor acoustics, could hardly carry on a conversation in the noise from the entire company. If you can sit outside in the summer, the beach mill will easily move up to 5 stars.

Vi sad desværre ikke i rummet med udsigt til Øresund som er dér man skal sidde. Vi fik en femretters frokostmenu. Maden var hjemmelavet og meget velsmagende. Dejligt hjemmelavet rugbrød til. Fornuftige øl og snapsepriser (6cl til 70kr). Super betjening.

Havde ikke rigtig forventninger til stedet, idet det var første gang vi besøgte restauranten. Vi havde medbragt et dealbevis til frokost til ca 150,kr pr kuvert. Er godt klar over at man ikke kan forvente alverdens, men frokosten, ikke stor, men alle 4 retter var meget velsmagende. Servicen var rigtig god og da både parkeringsplads som restaurant var fyldt, må der være andre der synes godt om stedet.
