The beach pavilion in Hornbæk just delivers every time. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, the service is personal and welcoming, and the food is really well prepared with good ingredients and lots of flavor. The combination of the beautiful location close to the water and the good atmosphere makes the place really special. You want to stay all evening — clearly the best place in Hornbæk.

Nice place to eat with sweet and friendly staff. We had a fantastic ribeye with bearnaise and lovely French red wine. For dessert we had creme brulee and lovely coffee. We will be back in the summer.

We had their seafood platter, it was really good, super fresh and plenty of food. We will be back this year. Nice service and music in the courtyard.

There were 3 of us and we each chose a starter and a main course. The portions were a nice size, so you didn't get too little, but we didn't have room for dessert. It was fully booked, so it is recommended to book a table on Saturday evening. The starters consisted of carpaccio, tomato burrata, scallops and a fish dish accompanied by homemade bread and butter. For the main course we had confirmed duck, 250 g ribeye and fried hake. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and was tender. It is liberating that this classic Danish/French inspired restaurant has a menu where everyone can join in. We paid almost 1800 DKK including tip and drinks, which consisted of non-alcoholic beer, a couple of glasses of red wine and Danish water. It is a lovely atmosphere, good cozy lighting and skilled chefs and waiters. Can definitely be recommended if you visit Hornbæk.
