Nice quick lunch option on the city center with Italian sandwiches

We happened to be in the right place when we opened Google maps to find a place to grab a sandwich and this popped up as highly rated. We nearly missed the door which is down a few steps from the sidewalk, and we entered into a small rustic yet cozy restaurant and greeted warmly by the owner. We ordered 2 different sandwiches, the Parma and the Pancetta (with pumpkin), and he kindly split them in half for us and combined them on our plates for us…even suggesting the order to eat them in. The sandwiches were delicious! The bread is called Crescia which was like a flatbread meets a tortilla, but 100 times better. These were some of the best sandwiches we’ve ever eaten. The owner says he imports his ingredients from Italy. We highly recommend this restaurant! A tremendous taste value!

Amazing Italian store, choose to eat in or take away. Very nice food choices and home made tiramisù ! The best tiramisù we had so far Literally the dough is made in front of you, and the staff is so friendly we felt so welcome. We visited 2 times in a 3 day trip. The location is perfect for the day’s central strolls and great to avoid overpriced restaurants or fast food restaurants
