I am a long time customer of summerbird, but I had a very strange experience going there today. I usually enjoy buying gifts for friends/family and then tasting some chocolate that the staff gives out, but the staff was rude today and made me feel uncomfortable when I asked if I could taste some chocolate (after I bought the gift package). She said, passive aggressively, "I usually like to hand these myself, but here". I'm not sure if the management changed or this person is new, or just had an off day, but it was weird.
