Insider tip on the other side of town. Away from the tourist gastronomy. Rustic, authentic pub with super nice service/boss. Main courses must be ordered 2 days in advance. But there are always smörrebröd and they are very good, very tasty and cheap. Freshly made and better than any pizza or burger. Chilled beer 20 crowns/bottle (€2.68 as of 08/24) Card payment possible. Easily accessible on foot via the bascule bridge.

06/09/2024: Good morning, We ate at Dampskibshuset in winter 2023. A table was reserved in advance and we went to the restaurant for the roast buffet. There was a large selection of roasts, fish dishes, side dishes, soups and desserts. The quality of the food was very good, the staff friendly and accommodating. The selection of drinks is more than sufficient. The price/performance ratio is very good. We will definitely come back here in spring 2025. Sunny greetings from Hamburg.
29/08/2024: Verdenklasse smørrebrød der fortjener stor ros! Virkeligt et besøg værd, med god betjening af ejeren. Beliggenheden er helt i top! På forreste række! Vi kommer 100 % igen!

10/12/2024: We sat outside in one of the greenhouses, where they had turned on the heat outside and there were also blankets. We both got a sandwich and they were really good
