It's a nice Burger concept they've got, at least their Double Hereford Bearnaise. The price compared to what you get is more than acceptable if you're a member. Especially when their competitors are the dog-eat-dog McD and Burger King.

Sunset Boulevard in Kennedy Arkaden near Aalborg station was a solid experience overall and better than I expected for a fast food stop. The setup was simple and practical. You go in, use the ordering machine, choose your table, and then get called up when the food is ready. It was fast, easy, and worked well. For a place near the station, that matters, because when people are hungry or in a hurry, smooth ordering makes a difference.
I ordered the Hereford Wild West menu for 119 kr and added mayo for 9 kr, which brought the total to 128 kr. Looking at the receipt, the menu included the burger, fries, and a drink with free refills. Price-wise, that is not cheap, but for Denmark in 2026 and for a chain in a central location near the station, it is still within a range that feels fair enough if the food actually delivers. In this case, I think it mostly did.
The food itself tasted really good. The burger had good flavor, and from the inside it actually looked like a proper fast food burger rather than one of those disappointing ones that look better on the menu than in real life. The fries also looked decent and fit well with the meal. Overall, the food side of it gave me a much better impression than places that charge similar money but leave you feeling underwhelmed.
My biggest complaint was the mayo. The portion was far too small for something that cost 9 kr. That is really where I think they pushed it too far. If it had been included as part of the menu, it would have been easier to accept, but paying extra for such a tiny amount feels stingy. That was probably the weakest part of the whole experience.
The other slight disappointment was the drink selection. The menu had free refills, which is a plus, but they did not have Coca-Cola, only Pepsi. I ended up taking a Faxe Kondi instead. That is not the end of the world, but it was still a little disappointing, especially if you go in expecting cola and find out it is Pepsi products instead. I only used one refill, so the refill system itself was fine, but the selection could have matched my taste better.
The place itself looked fine from what I could see. It had a practical fast food feel rather than trying to be something more than it is, and that suits a location like this. Near a station, I would rather have a place that works efficiently and gets the basics right than somewhere that looks fancy but fails on food or speed. Sunset Boulevard seemed to understand that part well.
So overall, I would say Sunset Boulevard at Kennedy Arkaden is a good option if you want something fast, simple, and filling near the station. The ordering system was easy, the food came quickly, and the taste was good. My main complaints are the tiny mayo portion for 9 kr and the fact that they only had Pepsi instead of Coca-Cola. Outside of that, it was a solid meal, and I would rate it as a good fast food experience rather than a disappointing one.
If I had to sum it up shortly: good food, easy ordering, fair enough menu price, but overpriced mayo and slightly disappointing drink choice.
