It's again, just fast food. Sunset has the best fries, but I personally don't like their apple cake milkshake. But wait, how expensive has it become. When Sushi ad libitum has become cheaper per person, it's getting too much. But maybe sunset is just more expensive in Aarhus.

Ordered a sandwich with extra bacon and cheese. Funny enough, there was one slice of bacon in it, so where was the extra? Also, the sandwich was almost ice cold. (way too cold)

Got steak bearnaise. It was pretty bad. The food came relatively quickly, even though there were a lot of people, and everything was delicious. However, one of the waiters came down with a glass, where he put it with the edge against the table, which we found a bit tacky, since the table was dirty and he could have put it normally or on the tray.

A good pit stop to fill up the tanks, food and service are as expected, the atmosphere inside is good, but it is close to the highway and IKEA so this is not the area that gives charm but is centrally located and easy to get to.

Saturday night during the summer holidays was very crowded and noisy, many families with children. Everyone was having a good time, we sat in peace.

17/11/2025: It hurts to have to do this review, as Monk probably has the best BMO in Aarhus, but after coming many times before noon and finding that they have sold out of BMOs more than half the time, I have to give them 3 stars. I have stopped wanting to go there, as they are probably sold out anyway. It has happened as early as 10am. It is disappointing. Unfortunately.
16/09/2025: Small shop, inside not so many tables, industrial chic. Very nice tables outside to enjoy the sunshine on good days. Service is friendly, sometimes a bit slow. Excellent coffee though and great pastries.

03/09/2025: Great service, lovely 4 course very tasty menu. Can only be recommended.
28/08/2025: A super nice place with excellent food and service. Rustic and very tasty. Honest food where thought was put into the food and wine. Some of the best we've had in a long time. A place that's a little hard to find (in a backyard) but definitely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back?
