The sourdough bakery provided excellent service that exceeded expectations. The staff were incredibly welcoming and their dedication to quality is clearly reflected in their delicious sour products. An enjoyable experience where good service and fantastic baked goods meet. Highly recommended!

Food is delicious but just like all the comments below, it is disappointing that you need to buy bottled water. I thought things will change in time.

Very cozy "hidden" gem with delicious bread and good service.

My visit to Surdejsbageren in Aalborg was a mixed experience with many highlights and some areas for improvement. The cafe radiated a cozy atmosphere, which was enhanced by the opportunity to observe the baking process inside. It gave an authentic sense of craftsmanship and tradition that I really appreciate. We sat in the corner, and it should be noted that every time the door opened, a cold breeze came in on us, which was somewhat cold and miserable. The breakfast plate was a pure delight for the taste buds with homemade specialties and the artistic presentation of the cappuccino with latte art added a visual treat to the tasty coffee experience. The cocoa was also a pleasure and contributed to a nice start to the day. On the service front, the silence of the staff was remarkable. I would have appreciated more outgoingness and warmth in their approach, which could have improved the overall experience. After all, smiles and interaction are an important part of the atmosphere in a café. Price-wise, the size of the breakfast plate didn't quite reflect the value, but the quality and taste of the food made it easy to overlook this aspect. The decor was charming and personal, with the owner's passion for Batman as a fun and unique touch that added character to the place. All in all, my visit to Sourdejsbageren was a positive experience. I am convinced that with small adjustments in service and perhaps price, this place could become an even more attractive meeting place for locals and visitors to Aalborg.
