Fantastic bread and cake of the highest quality. As in ‘out of this world.’ Quite high prices, but it’s worth it. It operates with full self-service, and the baker is busy doing what he does best: baking. So it’s not service in the traditional sense that you should expect. There aren’t that many seats, so takeaway is obvious. They also make pizzas with sourdough bases. They have to be ordered in advance, preferably well in advance. Love it.

I was very pleased with the products at this bakery, located near Kongernes Jelling. It's a great place for lunch. The premises are spotless, and the purchases are self-service, but the very kind owner is always available to help and recommend products. Everything is truly delicious: the pizza, the hot dogs, and of course the bread...

Great bakery with amazing bread

Stunning. The cakes we tried were fantastic. Should have payed more attention and find a plate instead of a box, felt a bit out of place, but is was not a fault of the establishment. We hat the most perfect pastries, would definitely return :)

What a cool concept. Very cozy; you see the baker at work while you place your order yourself. Sourdough bread soft and very flavorful, rhubarb meringue tart also very tasty.

The sandwiches are as good as they are generous (ham and cheese and pulled pork), the bread is very good and soft, the cinnamon rolls are among the best I have eaten and a little extra for the sale of local honey (also very good!).

Amazing place to get lunch. Short walk from the museum. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. And the pizza was fantastic.

Fantastic cozy place in the middle of Jelling. We tasted both the king sandwich and pizza, and both agreed that we should go back another time. It is definitely recommended.
