This restaurant has many interesting sushi varieties and there was a good amount of fish to rice ratio. Many sushi places have too little fish on the pieces compared to how it should be but not this place. I will definitely order here again!

I have eaten at Mikkel's at Bar'sushi on Nørrebrogade several times a week for over four years and it is simply the best sushi I have ever had. Always fresh, perfectly prepared and served with heart. Mikkel understands his guests and always goes the extra mile to deliver something truly special. He also made a private dinner for my 60th birthday for 50 guests and everyone was completely captivated by both the food and his presence. The most recent serving was for a customer VIP event at my company. Best food, best service, best person. Thank you, Mikkel & Bar'sushi's staff.

We had the pleasure of visiting Bar Sushi for my boyfriend's birthday on a Sunday. We were greeted by a fantastic waiter (Mikkel) who helped give us the best evening. He was good at guiding us to the food, good wine, and then we were allowed to taste some new things that they were experimenting with. He had a huge knowledge of the food and wine and the service was just absolutely excellent! We will definitely be back and have already recommended our friends to do the same. Checked!

If you are into mass-produced sushi without soul and taste, then bar’sushi on Nørrebrogade is definitely not for you. Here, quality and taste experiences are the focus. The concept is similar to ad libitum, but with one important difference: It is the sushi chef who decides what is served. This means unique taste experiences, exciting fusions and a variety that continues to surprise. Of course, you can share your preferences and wishes, but my clear recommendation is to leave the steering to the sushi chef – he is an experienced skipper who knows where the trip is going. The place is small – and that is a strength. Here, the focus is on the individual table, which ensures high quality and an experience where you can really enjoy the food rather than just counting how much you can order. If you love sushi, then this is a place you have to experience. If you just want 400 pieces of generic sushi in a hurry, look elsewhere.

Fantastically delicious food, service of the highest quality, beautiful little cozy place, Japanese atmosphere with a Nordic touch. Love it!

Super delicious <3 highly recommended! The food was so good, and there was something for both the little beginners in sushi, and the adults who want something extra exciting. The staff is sweet and present, and makes an effort throughout the entire experience.
