If you are into mass-produced sushi without soul and taste, then bar’sushi on Nørrebrogade is definitely not for you.
Here, quality and taste experiences are the focus.
The concept is similar to ad libitum, but with one important difference: It is the sushi chef who decides what is served. This means unique taste experiences, exciting fusions and a variety that continues to surprise. Of course, you can share your preferences and wishes, but my clear recommendation is to leave the steering to the sushi chef – he is an experienced skipper who knows where the trip is going.
The place is small – and that is a strength. Here, the focus is on the individual table, which ensures high quality and an experience where you can really enjoy the food rather than just counting how much you can order.
If you love sushi, then this is a place you have to experience.
If you just want 400 pieces of generic sushi in a hurry, look elsewhere.

My mom and I went there today,
the food is amazing, probably the best we ever had, the menu was throughly explained to us, the service was great and the bar in general is very cozy, definitely gonna visit again and would definitely recommend going there, it’s really worth it.

Really delicious sushi, good quality, but I think it was a bit pricey. Very sweet and friendly staff. Can recommend trying their “omaksi”.

We discovered this little gem in Copenhagen thanks to friends and I have to say this is the best Sushi experience I have ever had. The owner and waiters are extremely kind and take into consideration all the levels of allergies and culinary preferences before bringing the food to your table, which is always amazing and a constant discovery, plate after plate. This is a serious enjoyable place to eat and to experience, highly recommended and definitely not praised enough. 10/10
