The food was nice, but a bit expensive for the portions and taste. Their tournedos were really good, while the Wienerschnitzel was a bit disappointing. The dessert contained a piece of plastic, so we got a refund. On the positive side, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was really good.

Our small party visited Tante Maren. Some had shooting stars; others had Parisian steak. As for the shooting stars, they were pretty banal, unadorned and uninspired. No caviar/roe and only a single white asparagus. It tasted fine, but I've had far better and much prettier shooting stars from the local Kvickly delicatessen than at Maren's (the price is secondary in that comparison).

Ate there because we weren't in a rush to cook. It was super cozy, good atmosphere, nice and fast and good service, and the food was good, and plentiful enough that we were pretty full after the starter and main course. Definitely recommended.

04/07/2026: This is the best sushi I’ve had abroad in all these years. The rice is fragrant, sticky and perfectly cooked, and the ingredients are fresh and safe—it’s on a par with sushi in Japan itself. Thumbs up 👍👍👍
04/07/2026: I’m French and have lived in Japan, and the sushi at this restaurant is even better and fresher than some of the sushi I’ve had in Japan itself. Since I often visit Copenhagen to see family and travel, this sushi restaurant is a must-visit for me—every time I eat their sushi, I feel like I’m back in Japan! Thank you for making such delicious sushi, allowing us to experience its true flavor even while abroad. Their rice, in particular, is sweet, fragrant, and perfectly soft—thumbs up 👍👍👍
