Tavola Calda Gentofte

I have been there a few times now, and I must say it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Copenhagen. It’s consistently extremely good food, and they change the menu very often (I think weekly) - so you can go all the time. I love everything there! The food is top quality along with good service, value and atmosphere. Big recommendation. Go go go! :-)

Delicate and simple food without frills - just real ingredients that came into their own with simple spices and plenty of butter and oil, without it becoming bland. The fixed menu offered positive surprises and the sharing plates were of an appropriate size. The service was attentive and professional despite the fact that the house was full. It was liberating that the waiters did not spend several minutes sorting out and explaining what the food consisted of. The wine (prosecco and trebiano) was fine and the glasses were well-poured. Unreserved recommendation of this little gem.

Excellent Italian food and good wines to go with it. Of course not the cheapest, but definitely worth a visit for a good dining experience.

We had the most amazing night to celebrate my 50th, dishes were great, had the whole menu, kids were treated so well, the team in the restaurant were super nice, personable, knowledgeable and just utter pros. Advice on and selection of wines was spot on. Thank you!

Fantastic and hidden little gem on Rebekkavej. You can clearly feel the focus on quality, great taste experiences and authenticity. The portion sizes are well-balanced – we left both stuffed and very happy. Definitely a place we will return to.
