Super Cute and informative museum! Me and Teddy are big fans and he loves his new outfit we got at the Museum’s Store ;)
Teddy Bear Art Museum Billund – a place full of tenderness and stories
If you come to Billund, don't miss the Teddy Bear Art Museum – an absolutely adorable museum where teddy bears come to life in an artistic and exciting way. It's a different experience than anything you've seen before, full of nostalgia, but also surprises for the little ones.
The bears are displayed in carefully constructed settings, each with its own story, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. The museum is housed in a beautiful and elegant villa with a garden, cafe and shop with adorable souvenirs. It's the kind of place that brings a smile to your face, no matter what your age.
It's a great stop for families, but also for lovers of art, design and... fluffy stories.
Highly recommend – a quiet and magical corner in the middle of Billund's LEGO adventure!

A really fun an interesting place to visit. Planning 1,5 hours for the museum and around 30 mins for the beautiful garden is a good idea. The story of the artifacts is well explained in Danish, English and German, in some cases with the help of illustrations (The A4 leaflet provided at entry is only in Danish tho).
The collection is vast and it is easy to loose track of time, look at cute toys and read fascinating stories.
There are maybe 15-20 parking spaces available for visitors.

It is located a few steps from the Lego House in a green area! The museum is full of teddy bears there are 8 rooms! You can read their entire story on the panels in English! It's really very beautiful,
the girl at the entrance is very kind! Near the entrance there is also the Café Edit! Recommended for adults and children! It's worth the cost of the ticket

This used to be the house of Godtfred Kirk Christiansen (LEGO) & his family. It was changed to be the home of a very impressive Teddy Bear collection. You will learn about the history of this much loved toy & collectable. Make sure you met Alfonso, who has a heart rendering story. Afterwards, take a walk around the gardens, which surround the house.
