Tekstilmuseet Herning

Maybe it didn't quite live up to our expectations, but it was interesting to see the development.

I can only review the Ice Hockey World Championship exhibition. It was great! Small but perfectly formed. But it was done with attention to detail, and everything was in Danish and English. There were also some beautiful exhibits. It was very interesting :)

Nice little museum interactively furnished. If you don't know the local language or the English translation, it probably won't tell you anything, but there are still a lot of artifacts and machines here.

Great, informative museum! We learned a lot about Herning and its textile industry. There were some audios where you could listen to short interviews with different people. The information boards were limited to the most important things so that you didn't lose interest. It's good to know that all information is only available in English and Danish and not in German. But that wasn't a problem for us. We spent almost 3 hours in the museum and definitely recommend it.

Great exhibitions. in beautiful historical settings the gl. Clothing factory. Here you can see why Herning-Ikast has become big cities in just a few decades - out of "nothing" Herning is today the 12th largest city in Denmark - bigger than the medieval city (and royal city) Viborg.

Such a cool and original museum. You learn lots of things and even have fun pretending you're working. The atmosphere is really great. A must see if you're in Herning
