Tekstilmuseet Herning

The museum is definitely worth a visit; it provides a great insight into how the textile industry developed in Central Jutland and how quickly it subsequently declined. A recommendation: every Wednesday, volunteer machine operators are on site, and the old knitting machines are still in production for the museum shop. We received a very friendly introduction at the beginning of our tour. There's also a small self-service café with a fully automatic coffee machine. Parking, including for campers, is available right on the street. We found the museum very interesting and informative.

A very nice little museum with inexpensive souvenirs and several interactive areas. Also fun is the camera that takes a picture of you, and you can then embroider your face from that picture.

Maybe it didn't quite live up to our expectations, but it was interesting to see the development.

I can only review the Ice Hockey World Championship exhibition. It was great! Small but perfectly formed. But it was done with attention to detail, and everything was in Danish and English. There were also some beautiful exhibits. It was very interesting :)

Nice little museum interactively furnished. If you don't know the local language or the English translation, it probably won't tell you anything, but there are still a lot of artifacts and machines here.
