The Artisan Copenhagen København

The Artisan has fantastic espresso-based coffees. They are worth recommending :) You choose between different roasts when you order, and the coffee is delicious, airy and made right. However, it won't be 5 stars, as their drip coffee was quite disappointing. You could choose between three coffees, which was super fine, but the coffee was simply too thin and mostly just tasted a little bitter. I know some people like their coffee that thin, but it was too little for us. I have had significantly better drip coffee elsewhere. Pleasant atmosphere and rooms, and it's nice that you can sit outside. Also really good service, which is always friendly :) And then they have a hearty croissant toast!

I just love this place! Best coffee I’ve had in Copenhagen, excellent cakes, awesome, original cocktails - topped with great service and a “hyggelig” atmosphere. My grown-up daughter and I have made it a regular outing to walk around the lakes and end up at the Artisan. See you again soon, Jose, Kim and the team!

The coffee is really good no doubt. But it’s their pastries that make me come back again and again. The cardamom swirl is truly amazing.
