A wonderful little bakery with lots of quality bread. Extremely fine service from the "baker maidens".

Very tough and chewy buns, you literally feel tired after eating a whole one in one sitting. Pastries are super sweet and depending on what you choose can also be very dense. Overall not impressed considering the super high prices (fine if it's expensive and good quality but this sadly isn't), on the plus side, service was nice and quality of ingredients is high as well.

Bakeries in Denmark are like wineries in Bordeaux - plenty of good choices. Yet, even in this crowded field, few are towering above the rest, and this is among them. The name may be a little gritty, but everything here is baked on the premises, a true boulangerie. What's more, the place offers unusual pastries and breads, which we haven't encountered elsewhere, like sweet-salty cardamom bike and the exotic purple wheat bread. Smiles and enthusiasm are included with every purchase, and prices are reasonable at 25-45 krona a pastry. Will be back!
