My son (14), husband, and daughter (1.5 years old) ate here a few months ago, and the food was absolutely amazing. I’ve been craving it ever since! The portions were very generous, and the jerk chicken was incredibly moist and full of flavor. I’m from Jamaica, and I fully approve of this restaurant’s twist on jerk chicken! On top of the great food, I truly appreciated the owner’s warmth. She took the time to make sure our little Kira was comfortable and well looked after, which meant a lot to us. We did realize a bit too late that the restaurant isn’t particularly toddler-friendly. However, our daughter was on her best behavior that day, and the owner was so kind and accommodating, making sure Kira was comfortable throughout our visit. For a homesick island gal like myself, visiting the Caribbean Housewife was like stepping into a little pocket of home in the middle of a foreign land. From the moment we entered, Jamain made us feel warm & welcome, and the food blew us away with the flavour I'd been missing since leaving home. Jamain was polite, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the various dishes and drinks we indulged in. It also felt great to converse with someone with a similar background - almost like talking to a longtime friend. This is a hidden gem in CPH, and one that you shouldn't miss out on if you have the chance!

I was traveling Copenhagen for work when my sister and I stumbled upon an incredible tasting experience. Was one of the magical nights with wine, food and incredible vibes! Thank you my Caribbean Queen for all that you do!

Wow, what a beautiful evening! I have dined twice, the latest for event with Catalonian winemaker Emilie Mutombo. The wine paired so well with the food, and every course is always brimming with harmonious spice and bursting with flavour (that jackfruit!) Not to mention Jamain's warm hospitality and the delightful buzzing atmosphere! This place is a must for those wanting something unique and delicious - a true hug for the soul.

We had the full vegan menu and everything was perfect from start to finish! The food was super tasty and delicious (the fried plantain with banana ketchup and the peanut soup were to die for 🤤) with just the right amount of spice, and the hostess was really friendly and a lot of fun. Thank you for the great times, and hope we meet again in your new adventures :)

Caribbean Housewife is one of those rare places that stays with you long after the meal is over. The food was delectable, soulful, and beautifully Caribbean-inspired. Every dish tasted like it was made with intention, heart, and a whole lot of talent. The space felt warm and welcoming, and the story behind it makes it even more special. We enjoyed the sorrel, the jerk chicken, rice and peas and so much more. It was a 10 out of 10. Oh and the wine and the cocktails were flowing and so good! It’s owned by an incredible Black woman and her partner, and you can feel their passion and creativity in every detail. Copenhagen is truly losing a gem, but I’m already looking forward to visiting wherever she opens next. If you ever get the chance to experience Caribbean Housewife, do it. It’s unforgettable.

If you are into fresh Caribbean dishes with tons of flavor this dinner needs to be on your list. Nothing felt heavy - great food with spices that taste like someone’s actually cooking with love in the kitchen. The atmosphere is cozy and laid back, and the service was warm and welcoming. Everything feels personal the way the dishes are put together and you can tell it is run by someone passionate and not corporate. If you love discovering local small-business places with real personality, I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely love this place, the jerk chicken is always a favorite. The menu is always an amazing tastebud experience. The owners are very nice and take the time to chat and share their story if you are interested. I also did a cooking class with my team as a team building it was so fun and we made yummy food with their guidance.

My experience at the Caribbean housewife Was like no other. The care and Love that goes into each and every dish is amazing. I had several courses and I don’t know which was my favorite. The jerk chicken was the best I’ve ever had. If you visit Copenhagen Do not miss this spot!

This is my favorite restaurant in Copenhagen. We travel and eat out a lot and my husband says that this is his favorite jerk chicken in the world! 🌎 And that is saying a lot! The food is made with so much love and you feel like you are in someone’s home, not a restaurant. And the cocktails too!!!! So good!!!
