The city's Bread And Cafe Vejen

Don't understand that this baker is not rated Denmark's best baker! We live on Funen, but as long as we are a fair distance away, we drive in and buy bread or cake. Large selection. Absolutely reasonable prices. Always good and smiling service, and there is always a good atmosphere in the café.

Fantastic bakery with fair prices and a delicious selection. Bread is good and classic and their gourmet rye bread is worth driving for. Cakes are rich and generously made :)

The cakes are beautiful, taste good, and it's unbelievably cheap. Example: Large goose breast DKK 28. Large piece of cheesecake DKK 28. Large cappuccino DKK 38 (as far as I remember) There is an excellent selection of bread, cake, coffee, sandwiches etc. It is served at the table. You can also get to-go. The room is spacious and cosy. The chairs are nice to sit in. Can really be recommended!

Really cozy place where you can sit and relax with a cup of coffee with cake or sandwich. And just enjoy the atmosphere. Really good bread and rolls in all shapes.
