The Vietnamese is undoubtedly one of the most charming Vietnamese restaurants I have visited. The beautiful decor and the many small details that bring to mind Vietnam create an authentic and cozy atmosphere that makes the place unique. We arrived with a pram, which fortunately was no problem. It's always a great advantage when a restaurant can accommodate these kinds of practical needs without difficulty. We were greeted by friendly staff and the service was generally excellent, especially considering that a new waiter was on the floor that evening. However, we missed a thorough presentation of the beautiful dishes, which could have enhanced the experience further. The food was good, an interesting fusion of traditional Vietnamese flavors with a modern twist. My companions were very satisfied, but for me personally it did not quite live up to expectations – possibly because I had hoped for a slightly more complete Vietnamese taste experience. However, it was clear that the dishes were made with care and a desire to experiment. One thing that dragged down a bit was the wait for the drinks. The restaurant was full and with only three waiters (including the owner) on the floor it was noticeable that the staff were busy. The owner tried to create a special atmosphere by telling stories, which was a nice idea, but the repetition made it a bit long-winded. However, the intention was good and contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. All in all it was a good experience and there is no doubt that The Vietnamese has potential. With a little more focus on the details of serving and presentation as well as an optimization of the pace during busy periods, the experience could be lifted to the next level. I would definitely recommend the place to others, especially for those who want a cozy evening with Vietnamese flavors and a warm atmosphere.

Great food and a fantastic waiter, who is also the owner of the restaurant. He even gave us a new year speech about love, truth and equality in Danish. We felt at home in his restaurant and will definitely come back👍

Not your typical Vietnamese restaurant! Entered by chance looking to have lunch after visiting the design museum, and the food was great (osso-buco noddle broth)!it was flavored, spicy just as it should, with a fast and warm service. Great value for money. Thank you!

I was at The Vienamesse last Saturday and we had an absolutely delicious dinner.. One of the best things I've experienced in Copenhagen.. I can only highly recommend visiting The Vienamesse.

Very nice selection of food. Delicious and big portions. The atmosphere was quiet and nice, and the service was fast. The ginger beer tasted different in a good way.

Normalmente no me gusta la comida vietnamita. Sin embargo, este lugar cambió seriamente mi punto de vista en ese asunto. Fui por el menú degustación con 8 experiencias diferentes. Después de haber esperado más de 40 minutos, la comida finalmente llegó. Empezó con unas deliciosas ostras a la parrilla con huevo y un toque de chile. Luego nos fuimos a 3 aperitivos diferentes donde los springrolls y las rodajas de ternera a la parrilla adobadas eran brillantes. Luego llegó el momento de un curso intermedio de caldo de ternera servido con varios hongos y algunos fideos - los sabores eran profundos y ricos y disfruté de cada bocado. Era el momento del plato principal. Rara vez he probado el conejo que cayó tan bien. Finalmente llegó el momento del postre. Se trataba de una pana cotta con un toque ya que estaba hecha con coco, mango y en Dinamarca rara vez se veía jackfruit - pero la combinación era deliciosa. En general, una excelente experiencia que vale la pena el precio - incluso mi padre bastante exigente se fue a casa con una sonrisa en su cara y todos estábamos más que llenos. También el servidor era brillante - a pesar de que tiene que cuidar de todas las mesas que logró hacerlo con una sonrisa y se tomó el tiempo para explicar la comida y también charla chit para construir una conexión con los invitados. Me esforzaré por visitar este lugar de nuevo.
