The true Danish experience!! Fantastic ambiance. VERY low key but 100% genuine and 100% HYGGE. I had the Wiener Schnitzel and some beers, great meal but also the other courses are amazing. Great beer, wonderful staff and we enjoyed every minute. Closed on Mondays. Mid range prices. The heart of Copenhagen

Locale molto accogliente e caratteristico, anche se un po’ troppo rumoroso. Io ho preso il pesce fritto con gamberetti e maionese su una fetta di pane di segale tipico danese. Mio figlio arrosto di maiale con cavolo rosso, cetrioli, burro e il solito pane di segale. Entrambi i piatti ottimi. Porzioni abbondanti. 2 calici di vino e una bottiglietta d’acqua. Il tutto per 66€, quindi conto onesto per Copenaghen. Unica pecca: il menù è solo in danese

For Christmas lunch it was pretty good - all the food was good throughout, and the service too :-)

Oh my this was a fun place to have dinner with 3 generations. Portions are very large so be aware. The server was very funny. Dry and honest and yet so funny in her mannerisms. Just a great atmosphere and good food.

Parte de la cena fuera es la experiencia con el ambiente, los camareros y, por supuesto, la comida en sí. Realmente odio dar una mala crítica y no sé si he dado muchas menos de un 4 , pero el consenso aquí es acertado. El servicio es terrible, con un desprecio de costura apenas contenido para los turistas. Mi marido (que creció en la antigua Alemania Oriental, ahora un orgulloso estadounidense) estaba absolutamente encantado con el menú. ¡La mitad era una forma u otra de arenque! Estaba en el cielo. Tomó una cerveza, un plato de arenque con pan integral, manteca de cerdo, una hoja o dos de lechuga, tomate y algún tipo de aceituna (? ). Tomé una copa de vino, su ensalada de pollo con tocino crujiente (sabroso) con unas hojas de lechuga. La presentación fue como si no les importara menos y tirada en bandeja (estilo Familia). Al final, el camarero literalmente lanzó el lector de tarjetas de crédito sobre la mesa y se alejó, sin mirarnos. Nos miramos y nos reímos, ¿qué puedes hacer? Este restaurante es acogedor, ambiente fresco, y tiene TAL potencial. Estoy seguro de que han tenido su parte de turistas groseros, pero no seas tan estrecho de mente y francamente ignorante para tratar a los huéspedes como inferiores es tan mala forma.

A company was celebrating a birthday, so it was not possible to be there as an ordinary guest. They were not silenced. So we had to leave the place.

This is the oldest restaurant in Copenhagen supposedly. Olde world rundown atmosphere but great. We enjoyed the food. Most of it is seafood but we had the other options. We were just walking by and came across it.

SO authentic, wonderfully old fashioned, cosy. Excellent service, really good food (as our mother hoped she would) and wonderful, central location. We'll be back there a lot 😋😋😋
