Toldboden

We picked the perfect day to visit this seaside restaurant by the pier—the sun was shining, and the venue’s large glass windows created a bright summer vibe. The spacious interior added to the relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a long meal by the water. They were running a shellfish festival deal, which we couldn’t pass up. Service was polite but not particularly remarkable, due to them feeling a bit rushed and confused during our visit, with a few mistakes to the order. That being said, the food more than made up for any service hiccups. The shellfish platter was incredible—a generous spread of shrimp, blue mussels, scallops, snow crab legs, along with delicious dips, fresh bread, and crispy fries on the side. Every bite was packed with fresh, oceanic flavors, and enjoying it while gazing out at the water made the experience even more special. While the service could be improved, the food and ambiance were top-notch. If you’re looking for a great seafood meal with a stunning seaside view, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Weird variants of the Italian dishes.

Great concept of 7 kitchens to mix and match from. Plates are a bit on the small side although that works to taste more than one place. All food was excellent. Lovely location and decor plus friendly staff. Would recommend to make a reservation

Located by the water with beautiful views, Seaside Toldboden is an ideal spot for a great meal. The food is incredible, especially the seafood platters and fish dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff is very helpful. Will definitely be returning!

Superb location, on the edge of the canal, ideal for a stop in the sun after going to see the Little Mermaid statue. We had a large coffee (to be picked up inside at the central bar, no service on the terrace). Large tables facing south, very quiet. Nice corners to take a snack inside, not tested.

I have never had such good fries in my life!! The meal was very balanced, light and perfectly seasoned. The restaurant is well located and spacious. We weren't around other people, which I hate. Our meal went very well, and we left very good memories. But the fries!!!! Excellent!!! I'll come back from France just to have some fries again!😁

The concept is nice with the possibility of eating very different specialties in the same place! The establishment is nice, the decoration really nice and the waitresses very smiling. I recommend.

Patagonia and Nonna Regina are the best food

Delicious food during Dining Week. Where many other restaurants do not deliver well during Dining Week, and involuntarily give themselves bad publicity, the opposite was the case at Seaside Toldboden - I really wanted to come again. Lovely food, and especially excellent service with very attentive and considerate waiters. However, the acoustics were a little burdensome.

We were 2 couples of friends who had ordered a 5-course menu with drinks, wine menu, champagne, coffee and everything. And everything was wonderful - every dish tasted great, and the service was truly exceptional. Tafa in particular was fantastic: she presented the dishes professionally, but at the same time she was really nice and helpful (and even gave a round without charge🍸👌). She had a keen eye for when we were ready for the next course, and it seemed that she (and the other waiters) were enjoying themselves on the job, which says a lot about a place ❤️ Definitely a place we will come back to 👍
