Tophuset Rebild

Had Wienerschnitzel. Fantastic schnitzel. Tender and delicious. Plus peas, wonderful braised potatoes and a wonderful boy with fresh horseradish. Can only be recommended. Fantastic cozy place in historic surroundings and a personal and friendly service. It's not the last time we come

We came for dinner on Whitsun 2026. Two people plus our little dog, who we had in a stroller. We had been out walking in the area and had not booked a table. We asked if we could come in and eat and if we could bring our dog and stroller in. Tophuset is a tiny (and incredibly charming) restaurant with close tables and a ceiling where some of the highest spectacles may appear one day. But still, all three of us were allowed in and we got the best service and fantastically delicious food despite the fact that it quickly filled up, as there were many advance reservations. I had steak with pepper sauce and my husband had Wiener schnitzel and it was really delicious. All the while, our furry friend lay sleeping sweetly in his stroller. Dog owners will know how difficult it can be to find a place where you can bring your dog. There is no room for the dog under the table, so it is probably a prerequisite that you have the same kind of stroller. Our hosts were busy but still attentive and charming and it is definitely a place we will come back to when we are in this area again. Thanks for the food.

The kid-friendly dish was meatballs: unfortunately, with plenty of pepper. Salad with chicken: small portion. The curry dressing was almost non-existent!
