A very good ice cream shop; the portions are generous (two scoops per flavor). If you order two scoops, you'll get four. The flavors are classic and the taste is decent. The atmosphere and service are excellent.

Nice location, nice service and good view of the castle and lake and ducks from the deck chairs. Really boring tasteless soft ice cream and the most pathetic thin puff on the old-fashioned waffle Friday.

09/08/2026: Hillerød paradise is simply the best place to eat ice cream and take a walk in SlotsArkaderne at the same time.
21/07/2026: I love this ice cream. It is the best I come here every time. I am home visiting Denmark especially the hazelnut ice cream is divine. Unfortunately, they didn’t have that this time so I had to have licorice and pistachio, which was also divine. The ice cream is Smooth and flavorful one of the best in Denmark.

26/05/2026: Great place to celebrate a special birthday. We were there about 25 people with great food, a fantastic view and incredibly helpful staff who always had a positive attitude. The prices are also very reasonable.
