Toto Vin & Spisebar København

I’ve been wondering how to write about Toto. I love their sister restaurant, Pirlo, so it I had high hopes and great expectations before we went to Toto. The wine list is, and was, immaculate. The food looked delicious on view, and the restaurant looked cozy and hip at the same time (do people still say hip?). However (and this is where it starts), the cellar room was cold and drafty, so we semi-froze during our meal. We sat in the “wine cellar”. The food was fine, but not of the quality I expected, and I’ll be dammed if I ever pay 115kr for two (TWO) asparagus. The waiter seemed confused when we told him about our disappointment (and praised the carrots, they were the highlight of the dinner). The menu is misguiding, mentioning ingredients but not which form they will take (mostly gel). The wine was delicious and priced fairly, but the food was only fine and the portion sizes are probably just right if you’re on Ozempic. Toto recommends 3-4 servings per person. If one of them if bread and you’re choosing the carrots as the second, I agree. I might have had my hopes set too high, but as sure as Kilimanjaro rises above the Serengeti, it will take a while before I’m trusting my evening to Toto.

Super good experience! We were placed in the bar with a view of the kitchen. First thought was that we got a bad seat. It turned out to be the best! Lovely intimate conversation with your partner while enjoying the sight of the food, smelling the kitchen and talking to the sweet and very attentive staff! Definitely worth recommending! Only comment, but nothing decisive. I would recommend that the kitchen staff use black gloves and not just hands. To us it would have seemed cleaner. But absolutely nothing should stand in the way of this exquisite experience. Nice wine by the way!

Went here for dinner on a Monday. Place was full of people enjoying themselves. Atmosphere was fantastic. We were greeted by a friendly face. The server directed us to our seats and was very attentive for the whole experience. We had the: Brie Burata Focaccia Dumplings Pork belly Polenta And all the dishes were honestly delicious with completely different flavours being presented. We sat at the bar and both the servers and the chefs looked after us. It was great watching them work behind the bar and the dish creation process everything was very clean and their mise en place was on point. The server knew the wines well and was able to recommend great pairings. Highly recommend and will be visiting again next time I’m in town.

Has been a regular guest at Toto since the restaurant opened. The level has been high from the start, and is still top notch. It's simply my favorite place. They never disappoint! The food and wine are fantastic and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I recommend 100%.

Jeg havde en fantastisk dejlig aften på Toto. Vi blev placeret i spisebaren med udsigt til det åbne køkken. Virkelig stemningsfyldt at kunne sidde og følge med, samtidig med at nyde den gennemført gode mad og vin.

Had an amazing dining experience at this wine bar. Food was superb! We were sat at the bar as we didn’t pre-book, it was nice to watch the chefs in the kitchen. Really nice and friendly service. Would highly recommend!

The food and drinks were delicious and the service staff were enthusiastic and generally faultless. We were very lucky to stumble here while staying in Amagerbro, but this place is worth travelling to from the city centre.

Hier macht es Freude einzukehren. Mediterran inspirierte ambitionierte Küche mit einem Hauch Schärfe aus Asien oder Südamerika, etwa Cheyennepfeffer auf dem Dessert oder Chili im Ceviche. Unter der Woche besonders empfehlenswert, da es Freitag und Samstag doch sehr voll werden kann. War da jetzt drei Mal und jedesmal begeistert.
