I held my 70th birthday party at Transformerstationen, which turned out to be very suitable for the purpose. The building impressed the guests - as it is an old transformer station - and the room was cozy and suitable for the gathering of 40 guests. The facilities were excellent, as it was easy to set up tables and chairs, and plates, cutlery and glasses were close at hand for setting the table. The kitchen also had all the necessities so that the food coming from outside could be heated and prepared. And the cleanup was easy and quick. Furthermore, I hired a head waiter through Transformerstationen, who was extremely competent and efficient, so that I could fully concentrate on the guests. I can highly recommend others to rent Transformerstationen with waiters for parties.

We rented the machine room for our silver wedding anniversary. Great rooms, projector and music system worked flawlessly. Really good acoustics in the room. Everything was as it should be.

Absolutely perfect experience ;-) nothing to fault. Great venue (the living room), good sound, the dance package worked optimally and very welcoming staff and good contact with the venue throughout the process.

05/08/2026: In my opinion, this is the best bakery in Copenhagen. Founded by Richard Hart, famous pastry chef, Hart Bakery has several locations across the city, but this one stands out for its atmosphere, architecture, and overall vibe. Everything I tried was exceptional—refined, thoughtfully crafted, and genuinely enjoyable. The Bun & Cheese was a particular highlight: simple in concept, yet sophisticated and perfectly executed. Richard Hart’s sourdough cookbook is also outstanding and well-deserved of the recognition it has received. Their coffees are excellent as well. You can sit inside, but if I were to visit again, I would choose a seat outside regardless of the weather. There’s something special about enjoying great coffee and pastries while taking in the neighborhood atmosphere. A truly memorable bakery experience and a place I would gladly return to.
