Unkai Sushi Hillerød

Nothing spells the “love of beer” like a macro lager in a dirty glass, right? Add a few bucks to upgrade your edamame to spicy … meaning a few spurts of sriracha and some sesame seed sprinkles accompanied by a lemon shard that has been working overtime this week. Yet this is a brilliant place! From a taste point of view I have zero complaints. Great food. Fish looks, smells and tastes fresh. Arrangement on the plate is nice. Place is buzzing. Pick-ups are a-plenty. Service is Bruce Lee quick and to the point. They offer Asahi, Sapporo, Iki and Kirin on bottle, which in itself is way beyond most Izakays or Sushi bars in the Nordics. Honestly my first (and mandatory) stop next time in this neck of the woods. One piece of advice though, ditch the Lucky Buddha. What a horrible excuse for a beer.

Very nice sushi. Fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. Friendly staff, just be prepared for very basic english skills and no english menu.

Nu har vi efterhånden besøgt Unkai Hillerød nogle gange, vi anbefaler gerne restauranten til andre for maden er fantastisk, det samme kan man sige om betjeningen som altid er positiv og venlig. Tusinde tak for endnu en god oplevelse, her bliver man aldrig skuffet.

Nice sushi. Ok service. Cleaning tables M.M. was not Ok. The stair railing to the lower floor was completely sticky - oops!

Absolutely wonderful sushi, not the best I've had, but it's very high quality. Can definitely recommend eating here.

Super nice place with really good sushi and sticks

Online takeaway ordering. Their sushi was really good. I couldn't bear to sit in there and eat because of the smell. But as a takeaway, we could easily place an order again. It is not possible to park right next to it, as it is on a pedestrian street that has also been completely dug up, so people with walking difficulties or wheelchair users will probably have to wait to visit the place.
