July 2025 There were three of us on bikes. We had an entire "room/tent" (designed for four), which was very convenient. The bike parking was closed at night.

Honestly one of the best hostel experiences I've had in a long time. Location was great! Hostel bar was a good mix of travelers and locals! It's super easy to socialize at the bar or just simply recharge by yourself. The staff were atentive, nice, and accomodating. Bathrooms and common areas were kept impeccably clean. Only nitpick is the air conditioning in the tents themselves (or lack there of). It can get quite warm in the summer in a full tent. Also noise can be an issue given the tent format especially on busy weekends. However, ear plugs are provided for free at the reception. Met a lot of cool people and loved exploring the city from this Nørrebro hub. Definitely will be my top recommendation for anyone visiting Copenhagen!

This is an excellent place to stay in Copenhagen. It is comfortable, has great facilities and it is really clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The tents were spacious and had large storage lockers. The hostel is really close to the metro. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay in Copenhagen, close to various stores and subway is in walking distance in 3 minutes. Cozy place, kind staff, we'll come again ✌🏻😁

An interesting option on the Copenhagen tourist map. I don't know what the rooms are like, but we sometimes hang out with friends for a beer at the hostel's bar. The service is always friendly, comfortable, and affordable.

Our experience at Urban Camper | Hostel & Bar was definitely positive 👍, a quaint hostel where we stayed during a recent trip to Copenhagen. Arriving around 3:00 PM 🕒 on Monday, March 27th, after a frugal lunch 🍔🍟 at the Torvehallerne covered market, we completed the check-in procedures 👩🏻‍💻 and quickly reached our accommodation. This last deadline was especially appropriate because, once upstairs, we didn't find the room we expected, but rather a long row of tents very similar to camping tents ⛺ (not surprisingly, the structure's name clearly refers to this); after the initial shock, I must say that the originality of the solution nevertheless brought a smile to our faces 😅. The tents are basic but sufficient, even equipped with lockers (although without locks) and folding flaps to limit access. The bathrooms, spacious and in good condition, are shared but separated by gender; there are plenty of sinks, toilets, and showers. Toilet paper, towels, and soap were always available, so the cleaning ladies provided a valuable service. The common area on the first floor (the same as the reception) is also nice, equipped with benches, sofas, a television, billiards, and special tables dedicated to a game that's very popular around here (but whose name I didn't catch). You can also have breakfast here (available as an extra for 2-3 euros 💶, easily payable via POS 💳); it includes bread 🍞 (white and spiced), jams 🍯, butter 🧈, cured meats (salami and turkey) and slices of cheese 🧀, juice/water 💧 from dispensers, and a hot drink (I always opted for coffee ☕). The property also offers a bicycle rental service 🚲 (again for a fee), which we used practically every day. The Wi-Fi 📶 is free 🆓️ and works well. The staff members are kind and friendly, all young people, including more than a few Italians 🇮🇹 (a special thanks to Valentina 👩🏻 who welcomed us on the day of our arrival). Although the property is located a bit outside the city center (about 4 km from the Town Hall Square 🏫), it's still quite convenient to reach the city's main attractions both by bike 🚲 (there are extensive and ubiquitous bike paths) and by metro 🚇 (the Nørrebro station/stop is just steps away). We liked it, so I can only RECOMMEND IT 👍. Very clean hostel, the bar is great! The location isn't the best although you can reach good areas easily with a bike, the rooms are extremely dark which is quite annoying when trying to find things, and there is no proper separation between rooms so even in a private tent you'll hear other people snoring. Wouldn't recommend for light sleepers, with earplugs I was ok

We're two girls from Milan. We saw the ad on Booking.com and, given the price, we took the plunge. And we were right! The staff were really young and helpful with everything. Important: Bring a large padlock, if possible, otherwise you'll have to pay €7 for the lock, and if you want towels, they're very reasonably priced at around €1. They give you free earplugs, which you'll definitely use! If we ever come back, we'll definitely stay here again!
