I've been there twice. The ice cream portions are huge, which I personally liked. The staff is very friendly, and the selection is incredibly large. However, I can't quite relate to the quality of the ice cream as praised in other reviews: My orange ice cream tasted like an effervescent multivitamin tablet to me. The peach ice cream tasted similarly artificial. The creamier ice cream flavors I tried lacked a bit of richness for my taste. For example, the flavor advertised as "Kinder Bueno" tasted more like plain ice cream with chocolate and wafer pieces. I missed the nut spread, and the pieces that were there didn't even taste like a cheap version of Kinder Bueno, but rather just like any old wafer chocolate. The chocolate ice cream, see criticism of its richness, tasted to me like the chocolate part of a regular Fürst Pückler ice cream carton. It's edible, but I wouldn't go to an ice cream parlor with that expectation and pay around €7 for two scoops. The Exotic milkshake, unsurprisingly, tasted more like vanilla with a mango note that was too shallow for my taste. If you want a lot, this is the place for you, in my opinion. However, I didn't really enjoy it, especially the fruit ice cream.

Delicious waffles and delicious ice cream. Anyone on holiday in Øster Hurup has to visit. However, you'll need to be on your time; it can get quite busy, so it can take a while.
