Very friendly staff! The pizza oven is a real eye-catcher and creates a lovely ambiance.

Truly the best pizzas I've ever tasted 👍 but we couldn't finish it and wanted to take the rest with us, so we had to pay 30,- kr for a pizza tray 😱😱 and that was after we had just paid for the food and 65,- kr for a 25 ml juice, 🫣🫣

One of the best pizzas I've had in Aalborg

If you're like me, tired of the usual "city pizza", and want something with flavor, where the ingredients are rounded and has a good assortment of fillings and toppings - then you've come to the right place. I've both had takeaway and eaten in, and can definitely recommend it. It's quickly become one of my favorites in Aalborg!

The pizza was delicious, and both the owner and staff greeted me with smiles and a warm welcome. The cheese and other ingredients were fresh, and the oven-baked pizza was exquisite.

Sweet and friendly owner. The pizzas are super good but a bit too expensive for what you get. Still a nice place and super nice new restaurant!

I wrote this review on a Facebook post, but since it was deleted, it's here. We had booked a table at Guys well in advance because we wanted to try their evening menu with social dining – a concept with starter drinks and shared dishes. It was my birthday, and we had been looking forward to a nice evening with good food and wine. When we arrived, however, we were told by the waiter that the restaurant had lost their alcohol license. It came as a surprise – not because we were going to get drunk, but because both we and several other guests had clearly expected wine or drinks with the food, as part of the experience. When you have a reservation in advance, I honestly think that you should be informed of such an important change. Then you could decide for yourself whether to go ahead with the visit or find another place. Especially on an evening like this, when there was both student week and the Danish Cycling Championship in Aalborg, and it was therefore impossible to find a table elsewhere. We ended up just ordering a pizza and a soda – which could just as well have been takeaway. The whole evening was therefore somewhat shorter and less festive than expected. That said, I would still like to recommend Guys. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and welcoming, the pizzas tasted fantastic, and the place has a really cozy atmosphere. It was just a slightly unfortunate experience – especially on a day when we wanted to celebrate something special. We have had pizzas from there before and have always been satisfied. BUT we felt a bit of a pawnbroker to stay. And when they also delete comments on Facebook to search for people coming in and eating without being informed. Then you have to go a step further. Unfortunately, it is a shame because the framework is there and we will probably also go get pizza from there again for takeaway. But a festive evening in the restaurant will probably not happen.
