Nice selection of burgers, fries and drinks. Order on a slip and have the option of three different burger buns. The kitchen skillfully serves the right combination for the whole table. The fries were freshly cooked and warm, while the burger buns were a bit dry. Beer is served in ice-cold glasses. This is not some fast food restaurant. The food came 35 minutes after ordering and we waited almost as long for the drinks. However, there was only one poor employee in the restaurant on a Friday night, who had to welcome customers, set the table, take orders, make and serve drinks, serve food, clean up and take payment. Hardly the best burger bar in town

I came to this place based on a single picture of The Legendary, this establishment's take on the Danish Befsandwich (I've added my own). This burger worthy of the name is filling and indulgent and such a reasonable price! Paired with a beer served in a freezer chilled glass and some sweet potato fries and aioli I was in street food heaven. Paired with a relaxed and buzzing atmosphere. Add this restaurant to your Copenhagen visit now!

08/10/2025: Super nice place and absolutely brilliant with their "eat and drink all you can in 2 hours". The food was good and we could only ask for more of something, and then it came - the same with the drinks. Perfect for a group or a party before the tour continues in the city.
11/08/2025: Super delicious bowl that can be ordered as a set menu or you can put together yourself. We chose one of each option and they were both really delicious. It tasted so good. The staff was nice and welcoming. The place is very minimalistic with a view of the kitchen. You sit at a long table, so not much 'private' conversation. The ceiling is high, so the acoustics are not that nice, but a Saturday evening with happy people makes it all cozy.

SVOVL - private dining - events - pop-up

23/05/2025: Visited in May 2025 during the seafood festival. The food was cooked using fresh and high-quality ingredients, but the flavours were a bit too mild for my taste. My favourite was the fresh tuna and cod dish, which was pleasantly salty and smoky. The main course was also pretty good. The poached oyster dish was my least favourite and could have used some acidity. There were many wine options, but no drinks menu for anything else. We got a beer and an elderflower syrup after talking to the waitress. The interior looks modern and the bathroom is cool. The tables are a bit too close for my taste, but that's the case in many restaurants in Copenhagen. Overall, I had a pleasant enough experience, but I'm not likely to return.
23/05/2025: Svovl is our local restaurant and wine bar. I can't recommend it enough - food, atmosphere and service are all in one. Thanks to Rasmus for creating a wonderful gastronomic and oenological oasis in Århusgade.
